Guided Hike to the Overlook
8:30 a.m.
Start the morning with an invigorating hike up to the scenic Overlook, offering views of the resort and surrounding hills of Northwest Georgia. This hike is brisk but moderately challenging with a short, but steep incline to reach the Overlook.

Feeding at The Farm
9 a.m.
Feed our menagerie of farm animals during this family friendly activity. Goats and miniature horses enjoy meeting resort guests during this event.

Birds of Prey Demonstration
3 p.m.
Reconnect with wildlife and learn about the birds of prey found in North Georgia. View multiple species of owls and a red-tailed hawk, all presented safely and informatively by the experts from Blue Ridge Raptors. Each participant receives a Sibley’s Guide to Raptors of Eastern North America.
$18 per person

Pies & Pints

Join us for a pizza party featuring wood-fired pies from BR Coppertop Pizza Co., our pop up pizza oven, along with a selection of local and regional beer.

Swine & Wine Barbeque

It’s a celebration of Cork & Pork as we celebrate with our friends Rusty’s Bar-B-Q (Birmingham, AL) and Prisoner Wine Company. Join us as Rusty, an active member of the Southern Foodways Alliance, smokes a whole hog in the Biergarten’s custom-built J&R Smoker before a center of the village celebration complete with exciting selections from Napa Valley’s guest favorite Prisoner Wine Company to complement a traditional barbeque feast.

Celebrate the start of the festive season with a family friendly holiday celebration, counting down to the official lighting of the Barnsley Resort Village. Enjoy visits with Santa, seasonal refreshments, hands-on crafts for kids and live music surrounding the center of the village. Complimentary for resort guests and members.

Parking passes required for off-property visitors only. Overnight resort guests and members enjoy complimentary access.
Outside food and beverage is not permitted. No buses, RVs, passenger vans or other large capacity vehicles.

Primo Pizza & Pasta Party

Savor a menu featuring a selection of pizzas by the slice hand-made on site by our chefs and wood-fired in our BR Coppertop Pizza Co. oven and classic pasta dishes. Antipasto, Mediterranean salads and tiramisu are certain to create a taste of an Italian evening. To complete the experience, enjoy live music.

Gather around the table with family or friends this Thanksgiving at Barnsley Resort. An elaborate Thanksgiving Buffet is presented in Georgian Hall featuring traditional and elevated holiday dishes, presented alongside a decadent array of desserts.
