Pheasant Tower Shoot

Continental Pheasant Tower Shoots at the Beretta Shooting Grounds simulate an English-style driven pheasant hunt. There are 250 birds released from a hilltop as hunters test their luck at shooting the high-flying pheasants. Hunters will rotate between shooting stands as professional guides use cocker spaniels and labrador retrievers pick up downed birds. There is a maximum of 20 hunters for each Tower Shoot, so advance registration is highly recommended.

Continental Pheasant Tower Shoots at the Beretta Shooting Grounds simulate an English-style driven pheasant hunt. Learn to craft classic Southern cocktails from our expert mixologist. Learn about the history of each cocktail while enjoying a selection of chef-created appetizers. Then, participants will learn the art of creating four classic cocktails during this hands-on experience. The price includes a cocktail book, shaker and recipe cards for each guest. Space is limited for the exclusive experience, so advance booking is highly recommended.

Group Hike to the Overlook

Start the morning with an invigorating hike up to the scenic Overlook, offering views of the resort and surrounding hills of Northwest Georgia. This hike is brisk but moderately challenging with a short, but steep incline to reach the Overlook.

Wine, Cheese & Love Stories

Open your senses and learn how to create the perfect match to suit your own flavor palate to find the perfect complement between cheese and wine. Talented and knowledgeable wine stewards guide participants through a an interactive tour of wines while guests use their senses to pair selections from Georgia’s own Sweet Grass Dairy’s handcrafted cheese selections with fresh herbs, fruits and chocolate. Throughout this interactive walking tour, guests learn about the dramatic love story of Godfrey and Julia Barnsley that led to the construction of their beloved Woodlands Estate.
This interactive walking tour experience meets at the Inn Lobby before progressing to the Manor House Ruins & Museum.
