Our Location

Deep in North Georgia’s Historic High Country

You’ll find Barnsley Resort tucked into 3,000 awe-inspiring acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Northwest Georgia, one of the most interesting and scenic regions in the country. Just an hour north of Atlanta and south of Chattanooga on I-75, we find it’s best to follow the directions below rather than your GPS. Then once you’re here, you can park your car and forget about it until it’s time to leave.

Getting Here by Car

From Atlanta

Take I-75 North to Exit 306. Turn left off the exit. Travel approximately 2.2 miles on Highway 140. Turn left at the red light onto Hall Station Road and travel south approximately 5.5 miles. Take a right at Barnsley Gardens Road (just past Mt. Carmel Church) then travel 2.5 miles where the resort’s main entrance will be on the left.

From Chattanooga

Take I-75 South to Exit 306 and follow the signs. Travel west on Highway 140 for 2.2 miles. Turn left at the red light onto Hall Station Road and travel south for 5.5 miles. Take a right at Barnsley Gardens Road (just past Mt. Carmel Church) then travel 2.5 miles. The Resort entrance will be on your left.

Charging Stations

Traveling with an electric vehicle? Three ChargePoint charging stations are available in front of the Inn and may be accessed by guests with a ChargePoint account. If you don’t have a ChargePoint account, the front desk at the Inn can help. Vehicle charging is $2.50 per hour with a $1 minimum.

Airport Information

We’re conveniently located 70 miles north of the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and 65.5 miles south of The Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport. If you need pick-up arranged, we’d be happy to help. Let us know at least 48 hours in advance.

We’re easily accessible via helicopter with a helipad onsite. Our coordinates are 34.30175° N, 84.98217° W. If you require assistance upon landing, please contact Guest Services at 770.773.7480.

Tom B. David Airport (Calhoun, GA)

For arrivals and departures via chartered planes, Tom B. David Airport (CZL) is just 14 miles (20-minute drive) from Barnsley Resort in Calhoun, Georgia. Helicopter service is available from the airport to the resort, as well as taxi service and rental cars (via Enterprise). Learn More
