Wine Spectator Award of Excellence Winner, 2016
The 19th century farmhouse, now known as the Rice House restaurant, serves as the historical cornerstone on the north lawn of the resort. Meticulously dismantled on the original Rice Plantation in nearby Rome, Georgia before it was carefully relocated and resurrected at Barnsley Resort, our culinary team pays homage to the home's Southern heritage. Our chefs rely on locally farm-grazed cattle and garden-grown produce (inquire about what is grown here at the resort) as well as taking inspiration from what is in the moment and unexpected in his interpretation of modern farmhouse cuisine.
The Rice House is currently closed for the season. It will reopen on Friday, February 10 for Valentine's Dinner.
Regular dinner service will resume Friday, February 24.
